Spec Testing is a California Corporation doing business as Specialized Testing. Specialized Testing has been operating in California for 15 years performing field-testing, investigation, and inspection services. In December of 1999 Specialized Testing opened a laboratory facility and applied for California Corporation Status.
Spec Testing, Inc. dba Specialized Testing is in the business of providing materials testing services to engineers, manufacturers, inspectors, and construction professionals. The laboratory is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The laboratory performs testing of various construction products with a focus in the areas of construction materials testing, fastening systems, and tests of pre-fabricated lateral force resisting wall panels. Testing services include product development testing, quality control testing, and product qualification testing for recognition by approval agencies such as ICC-ES, City of Los Angeles, and other agencies.
Specialized Testing provides services in four focus areas. These are: concrete and masonry materials testing, product qualification testing, field testing, and consulting. Field testing services including In-Place Masonry Shear Tests, cast and post installed anchorage tests, flatjack tests, and other in-situ field tests.
